Silence is NOT an Option if You Care About the Health of Our Youth

My writing of the Blog has slowed a bit over the past few weeks. I’ve got 2 reasons for that. One is that my roommates have been requiring a bit more time and attention which is absolutely my daily priority. The 2nd reason is the stories that the media is choosing to report and the ones that they are choosing NOT to report have been coming at lightening speed. If I make up my mind on a topic… it’s a guarantee that within 30 minutes there’s another one smacking me in the face before I can even write “Good Morning…”. I wrote a blog a while back and I said that the disinformation from the media was abhorrent to me and I stated that the mainstream media was only beginning to rev their engines with this disgusting behavior because of the impending election. I was right… here we are less than 80 days from November 3rd and they have hit the gas pedal like they are racing in the Indianapolis 500. They are tossing the stories out there like flaming biscuits to see which “non-truth” they can get the most mileage out of.

I receive emails and texts from some of my blog followers with links to stories they’ve seen asking if they are true. Stop a moment and think about that. There are people that are so skeptical of national media stories that they are asking a “patio blogger” if they are in fact accurate. It’s a mind blowing situation we are in. We’ve reached a point where daily news sources exaggerate stories, report unverified information, and create “facts” that are not real. In a world that really could use MORE truth…. the media is heading in the OPPOSITE direction. They don’t care and they haven’t cared for a long time. They post “corrections” or edited tweets to stories faster than the wind was blowing from Hurricane Laura. People are desperate for accurate truthful facts and the sad fact of that is….. they are very hard to find.

There are so many stories circulating right now that effect our every day lives. We can talk about the violence occurring in major cities around the country. We could discuss the BLM mob and their encouragement of this violence. We can talk about the politicians that are more interested in upcoming elections than in doing the job they currently have. We could talk about our children receiving little to no education right now because of school leaders that refuse to open their doors for kids to sit in classrooms. The wide range of topics is longer than the novel War and Peace. For today, I’m focused on 1 topic.

The CDC recently revamped the COVID numbers to reflect the actual number of people that have died DIRECTLY from the virus. They reported the data to differentiate between healthy people that became infected by the virus and died from people that were walking medical catastrophes by themselves. What does the new data show? Take a look:

It shows that we have been lied to. We have sacrificed our freedoms for a germ that isn’t killing us or even making us extremly ill if we weren’t already. The new numbers clearly reflect that ONLY 6% of all the 153,504 deaths recorded actually died from COVID. That’s 9,210 deaths. The other 94% had 2-3 other serious illnesses and the overwhelming majority were of very advanced age.

For the skeptics out there…. I didn’t get his data from Breitbart or FOXNews or even from Dr. Fauci. I got it from the “Experts” at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). I saw a story reported by the lying trash heap CNN and I did’t bother to head over to MSNBC to see if they too were reporting the same buffoonery because I have no doubt that they are. The narrative they are swinging around is that the CDC was pressured into reporting the data this way. They aren’t DISPUTING the data… they are saying that although it’s correct, it was only provided to us due to political pressure. “If it wasn’t for Politics… Americans wouldn’t have been given this new information.” Wait… WHAT?? We are being given very important data by the CDC and the media says… well yes, but you were only given it because of politics! This entire COVID disaster has been political from the very start but NOW they want to claim that’s a problem.

When President Trump closed the borders to prevent international travelers from China from entering our country he was lambasted by his political rivals and called a racist. Do you remember Nancy Pelosi (CA-D) and Bill DeBlasio (NY-D) telling everyone NOT to listen to him and come on down to the festivals in the streets? Then they’ve spent every moment since then saying that Republican leaders are responsible for thousands of deaths. Governor Kemp (GA-R) and Ron DeSantis (FL-R) were killing people by not implementing complete shutdowns for months and mandating face diapers for anyone that dared to walk down their driveway.

That my friends is POLITICS plain and simple. Don’t acknowledge the failures and successes in battling the virus… just merely lob your criticism towards anyone with a different political affiliation.

The mainstream media was all over the newspapers and television recently telling us that the CDC is the premier authority on this virus and the fact that they were being “removed” from data collection and compilation was disasterous. They told us in no uncertain terms that the CDC is “science” and we should all take heed to whatever they proclaim as the best defense in the germ warfare battle. The CDC also said that having a swab shoved into your brain when you have been around someone with COVID but are showing NO symptoms is unnecessary. What does the media say about us abiding by the CDC guidelines now?

Don’t believe them now. Don’t even REPORT what they say now. The media want you to believe that politics has infiltrated this organization and we can’t trust them. Here’s the honest truth about it. Politics infiltrated the CDC decades ago. You might not want to accept that fact but it’s accurate. Does it mean that we can’t believe a word they say? No, it does not but it does mean that you need to look at all of the data and all of the guidelines that they provide with a bit of skepticism.

What about this latest information that they released? Is it 100% accurate? The output of numbers is only as reliable as the input of numbers. Have they combed through every single medical chart and death certificate from each and every person that died? Of course not.

Let’s assume that their numbers are off. Let’s assume that their numbers are WAY off. They claim that 6% of the deaths were from completely healthy individuals with no underlying medical conditions whatsoever. What if we assume that 50% of the deaths fit that description? That is 76,752! We have destroyed our economy, denied our children an education, forced small businesses to close permanently for less deaths than we have each year from the seasonal flu.

It is time for people to wake up and quit being sheep! It’s time to make noise and write letters and dial some phone numbers! The leaders that are killing the economy and creating a mental health crisis in our country need to be reminded that we have rights. We have the right to worship freely and assemble when we choose. We have a right to voice our opinions without fear of retaliation. Our children have a right to a quality education. If you choose to remain quiet and allow the next huge disaster to occur which I can promise you will be sky high suicide rates and ongoing issues of depression and PTSD among our youth, then you can no longer blame the leaders who made these decisions. You too are at fault.

It is a scary time for adults right now because of unemployment and violence erupting in our cities. I walk into stores now and I am immensely saddened by what we have become. Imagine being a child or a young adult. Everything that you know…. your peers, your teachers, your social activities, and your sports have been ripped from your life. If you are hesitant to make noise because of what YOU as an adult might face…. then think of THEM. The voiceless that are forced to accept these rules with no means of changing them. Speak for them or deal with the consequences months and years from now.
