The Double Standards of Justice and Media Bias Have Never Been More Obvious Than They Are Today

Civilized societies all have rules and laws

It’s a tough world to raise kids in these days. I am trying to raise 2 roommates to be productive, compassionate, law abiding members of society. We have rules in our house. They must be followed. As the roommates have gotten older the rules have changed…. but the enforcement of rules has not. I believe that being a law abiding citizen begins in the home. If you allow rules to be subverted without consequence, then you are teaching that laws can be subverted as well.

I watch the news and I think… who raised these people that are sporting Ninja outfits, slinging bricks, attacking police and burning things ? Where did these people grow up to think this is normal behavior? The media hides alot of these events from the public and I think that is wrong. The media doesn’t get to “Choose” the news…. they are supposed to “Report” the news.

Burning Bibles

On Saturday night in Portland, protesters decided that it would be a great idea to further their movement by burning bibles. Some of you may not be aware of this at all (see my note above about the media hiding things). I’m not sure how burning bibles is supposed to teach the rest of us that we live in a racist society. If they were burning “Mein Kamph” … yeah, I could see it….. but the BIBLE? Nope… they are just thugs with nothing better to do. We are living in a time when burning bibles is acceptable and attending church is forbidden.

I watched videos taken during some of these “protests” and the thing that stands out to me is they aren’t interested in swaying opinions. They are using violence and intimidation to shut people up that disagree with them. Honest hard working citizens can’t debate the issues with them because these people can’t even be talked to. They are too busy screaming obscenities, lighting things on fire and bashing in windows. And…. here we are back again to the rules thing. As far as I know… every city in this country has laws regarding destruction of property, but not a damn leader in these cities is speaking out and telling them…. “Ya throw that brick… you’re going to jail”. They just call them peaceful protesters exercising 1st Amendment rights and tell the police to back the hell up and give them space.

If I was a police officer in Portland…. I’d back my butt up all the way to Tennessee or Texas. Those states seem to support their police and encourage them to “Enforce Laws”. Crazy concept I know, but look around…. the cities that are in the midst of “Defunding the Police” are the ones with skyrocketing crime and smoldering buildings. The city council in Seattle is in the process of doing just that. When someone swings a bat at you head or jumps on your car with a hammer while you sit at a stop light…. your call to 911 is going to be answered by WHO?? Sally the Social Worker? No thanks…. I want Greg with the Gun coming to my rescue and anyone with a damn working brain cell agrees with me.

EVERYTHING the media SHOWS you or HIDES from you is because of Politics

EVERY SINGLE THING. Every one of these cities has Democrat leaders. Not Republican….. Democrat. You can deny it all you want but the fact is I’m right. The media is not independent, they are biased. If you say, “No… not my news source… they ARE NOT biased or political”…. my response is … WAKE THE HELL UP! Tell me who your news source is?

Is it NBC/MSNBC that lied to you for 4 years about Trump colluding with Russia? Is it the Washington Post that ran a story about a terrorist that we killed and referred to him as “An Austere Religious Scholar”? What about Fox News that cut away during a White House briefing when they showed video of Antifa Riots? Is it ABC that buried a story about Jeffrey Epstein & politicians raping young girls? They are ALL promoting an agenda by hiding stories that adversely effect certain politicians. There are riots and bibles being burned in this country and the media for the most part is SILENT.

Law abiding citizens obey rules.

The sign on the door at Kroger says, “You have to wear a mask” … even if you think the face diaper is useless… you put it on. Hair salons have strict occupancy rules, if you think they are dumb… you still make your appointment and go at the specified time. If you think a Confederate statue is offensive, you don’t tie a rope to it and yank it down… you call your mayor and voice your opinion and then you wait for a decision on it’s removal. When I go to church, I wear my mask and sit on my “X” even though I think it is unconstitutional for ANY elected official to tell me what I can do inside those walls. Those are the rules and laws that my family abides by. But…. if I throw on a Black Lives Matter t-shirt and carry a sign, I’m allowed to congregate with thousands , stand in the middle of highways, and throw bottles at police officers. Do you see where I’m going here? One side is treated differently than another. If you doubt me… look into what the DC Mayor did for attendees of John Lewis’ funeral. The Double Standard is wrong and it goes against the pillars of justice that this country was built on.

There is an election coming up and attention should be paid to which politicians allowed the violence without consequence and which ones condemned it. Every American has the right to cast a vote for whomever they want and I think that makes this country GREAT. Here is an indisputable fact: those rioters HATE President Trump & Republicans. They ARE NOT voting for Donald Trump or Republicans. They ARE voting for Joe Biden and Democrats. I know for a fact they won’t be next to me in the campaign appreciation buffet line on election night. Depending on how you vote…. they might be next to you.

My PSA– There will be many more Landon Fuller’s if schools don’t reopen completely. The school decision makers are keeping them closed to avoid more deaths. I’d like to hear their comments on this.
