I Didn’t Think it Was Possible To Have a Worse Week than Andrew Cuomo or the Redskins……But Then It Happened

Happy Friday Morning to ALL! It’s time to start the weekend and I for one couldn’t be MORE excited! I don’t have plans but my roommates do and that makes me a HAPPY PATIO LOUNGER! All 3 of mine will be walking around a field hitting a ball while I shall have peace and quiet with my furry friend. I need the silence because I don’t know how you are handling it, but we’ve had a BIT too much togetherness lately. Even though places are open or sorta open or well… you can come in but stay the hell away from each other and wear a mask… it’s JUST not fun going ANYWHERE anymore. You know I’m right! My otherwise “social” roommates are choosing to just BE HERE when they used to be ANYWHERE BUT HERE. I love them but they are clogging up my space some days.

I’m not going to get all “political” today but I will share 2 items along with honestly the most upsetting thing I’ve seen since the COVID hit.

The 1st, Governor Andrew Cuomo continues to act like a donkey’s rear end. This man has issued mandates requiring masks and people traveling from certain states quarantine when they arrive in New York. I am gobsmacked that this buffoon is telling the rest of us what we need to do to keep people safe. It has been proven that the rest of the country suffered immensly from his incompetent leadership. Look at his tweet & this photo taken recently. Does anyone see a problem????

Next up… The Washington Redskins. They announced their new name. The bravery that they have shown by taking such extraordinary steps to “Not Offend” is truly something to behold. They shall be hereto forth referred to as “The Washington Football Team”, lest anyone confuse them with a Bowling Brigade or Rugby Regiment. I am so inspired by this sense of leadership that I too shall follow their lead and to prevent “offending” I will simply be referred to as Firstname Lastname. I’m sure they will have many more “Ex” fans than “Current” fans for this ridiculousness.

Now… for the BIGGIE! Portland is under attack and becoming a mound of smoldering rubble. True…. but NO. Donald Trump is brilliant because he can remember “Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV”… Nope and he looked like an idiot saying it 6 times in a row! Joe Biden said that nurses at Walter Reed Medical Center were bringing him pillows from home and blowing in his nostrils. Ewww! I’m just plain grossed out by that.

It’s Houston’s Restaurant!!!! They REMOVED THE CHICKEN TENDERS from the menu! I’m just going to say it… I didn’t think 2020 could get worse and then Houston’s did the “Hold my Beer” move. This is absolutely the last straw and we must unite and let our voices be heard. #Bringbackthetenders must trend on social media! When I finish typing I’m immediately signing the Change.org petition and I encourage all of you to do the same. We’ve lost so much during this horrible year… we cannot allow our tenders to be taken away too!
