I’ve been writing this DoubleMDaily BLOG for almost a year now. I thought I’d run out of topics…. but alas that has not occurred. I’ll tell ya what HAS occurred. I’ve got too many to choose from. I’ve also learned over time that when my outrage hits a fever pitch and the beans knock over my jar, those are the most difficult ones to write. It seems that when my 1st thought is…”this world is filled with dumbasses” it’s kinda hard to back the train into the station and write sentences that aren’t profanity laced rants calling out these folks. That’s where I’m at today.
I’ve written this blog in my head more times than I can count. I’ve also typed it many times but each and every time, my fingers find their way to the <delete> key and I set the laptop down and go about my daily chores. This time…. I’m gonna try to find the words and avoid the <delete> and share with you my absolute anger and outrage over our fellow citizens that are the “Maskholes” amongst us.
Look…..when this whole COVID thing started and we didn’t know what in the hell this virus would or could do to us…. we all tuned into the daily briefings and were desperate for information and guidance! We all wanted the smart people behind the microphones to tell us lowly ordinaries what the hell we should do to avoid this invisible death sentence! AND THAT is how we got to where we are now!
We listened….. Drs. Fauci and Birx seemed to be extremely knowledgeable about epidemiology and had charts and graphs and words of advice. They started with….15 days to flatten the curve. Well, I don’t know about you but I can count and we are on day 332 of that 15 day failed attempt to save lives! Is anyone out there ready to publicly admit that the guidance they gave was a complete catastrophic failure? Don’t you dare come at me with…. “You uncaring soul, over 400,000 fellow Americans have died thus far”! Do you know why I am absolutely 100% NOT interested in that statement? Because it’s WRONG!
If you watch the lame stream media you think I’M wrong…. but that is not true. Ya want me to tell you why? It’s because of how they structured the way in which COVID deaths are reported. From the very beginning the CDC and state health departments used the “assumed” word when they reported them. Then to make matters worse…. they had a time frame that was utterly ridiculous! IF you tested positive for COVID within 60 days of taking your last breath….. BOOM…. you are a COVID death. So old Frank with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer tested positive in June, died in August and his cause of death?? COVID. So… NO I’m not buying the 400,000 number AT ALL.
All of that is completely outrageous to me, but that is not why this BLOG has been difficult to write. It’s difficult because I’m sick and tired of living amongst the people that have bought into this complete shitshow of a strategy! This strategy of making every person strap on a face diaper to walk into the Walmart makes me angry! IF I thought the diaper worked, yeah… maybe I’d be a bit cooperative but the data and the “Science” that these people love to spew at the freedom loving citizens in this country does NOT support their point of view. It doesn’t! It never has! AND yet…. scream they do!
I’ve seen videos of people yelling at someone in a store for NOT wearing the diaper. Well, I’m a common sense thinking kind of person and my 1st thought is….. “If you think they are a danger to you then GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THEM”. Pick a different aisle…. move your freaking cart away. BUT nope…. they actually walk right up to them screaming in their face that they are killing their fellow Americans.
Let me tell ya right now…… I’ve made it perfectly clear to the roommates that there better be enough money in the checking account to bail me out of jail if one of those mask holes confronts me because I’m NOT gonna back down from this idiocy! I’m just not! I’ve seen enough thus far that I am damned and determined that I will NOT be complicit in this crap a moment longer. I’m not going to teach my kids to stand up for what they believe in….. unless it gets a bit uncomfortable and then tuck you tail and run.
Nope, if I’m gonna preach it, then I’m gonna live it. So, I’m hereby announcing if you want to get up in my face with your anger and outrage over my lack of a useless Etsy mask then you better plan on being in the store long enough for the police report to be written up. You’ve barked up the wrong tree with this citizen if you think I’m gonna allow you to tell me….. a free citizen in this country…. what I am and am not allowed to do.
The thing is…. all of these mask holes and “Branch Covidians” feel emboldened to attack average ordinary citizens for NOT wearing a mask but they are awfully damn quiet when it’s pointed out to them that the people making the rules ARE NOT complying with them. I’d say, if you have an issue….. start there and work your way down to me if you are truly outraged. Here’s some folks that I suggest you go after first……
After you finish up there….. maybe get your head out of your butt and look at the actual numbers of cases, deaths, and restrictions in certain areas to see if in fact your point of view is supported by….. DATA! You’re willing to sacrifice the health, education and well being of children because you stupidly believe the media and ignore the actual data. I’ve read many stories of fragile kids that just couldn’t deal with this new lifestyle you demand and they’ve committed suicide. Do you feel the least bit responsible for that? You should.
You want me to feel guilty for every single COVID death but you are unwilling to take responsibility for the deaths that were the result of this “lock ’em in their house” strategy. It’s appalling! You are destroying the lives of children. The end result of this strategy is going to be decades of sorrowful parents that buried their kids because they couldn’t deal with the isolation that you mandated. It will be the failure of kids to reach their full potential because you have denied them the one thing that they truly needed to succeed….. an education.
You have isolated yourself from your family for almost 12 months and let me tell you something….. you’ll never get those 12 months back! Life is short enough as it is and you won’t get a re-do on birthdays, graduations, anniversary celebrations or holidays. They are gone forever. From where I sit….. many of you have ceased living in order to avoid dying and that to me is the ultimate tragedy of this virus. Your fear and your allegiance to talking heads on the television made you so fearful that you gave up on life.
That’s it. That’s the BLOG. I’m angry, outraged, and very very sad that so many people in our country have been silent about the real tragedy that this virus has caused. One day and it may be many days from now…… you will realize that the cure was so much worse than the virus itself and it will be too late to do anything about it. Many hearts will still be beating but the reality is they died a long time before because of living amongst this insanity.
