We’re Gonna Talk About “What” Bring Better Back REALLY Brought

The BLOG took a pause for a bit. There are various reasons for that which I won’t bore you with but as of now……it’s back. I took a break from typing to let the dust settle. I gave people time to get their crumpled selves off the floor after watching Air Force One head to Florida and gave others time to pack away their pearl necklaces from celebrating the 1st female Vice President.

Let me tell you a bit of what I discovered when I logged back on to the social media world… people that claim “gender shouldn’t be a career factor”, voted for someone based on….. gender. People who said we need new policies and leaders in our country, voted for a career politician with 47 yr old policies. It’s comical and tragic that some people are that dumb.

Let’s start with the pearl wearing Kamala crowd shall we? As close as I can tell, people are celebrating her gender and not her politics. That’s truly the stupidest reason to support someone who is a heartbeat (or a 25th amendment) away from plunking their rear in the Oval Office. I mean really?? Have you thought this through at all? Do you want to look into Kamala’s ethics at all? Or her honesty? Or her policies? I mean those things are pretty damn important don’t ya think?? You seem to be cool with her just so you can celebrate a victory for womanhood.

Let me give you a tid bit of WHO she is. First of all… she’s NOT African American (as many of you dumbos claim). She’s Jamaican / Indian… so at least get that part right. As for her ethics? Well, she was banging a married man, Willie Brown, so she could further her career so I’m thinking she’s a little “short” in the ethics department. You are telling your little girls, “the country has changed for the better because a woman is leading the way” but I’m not seeing you point out to them the adulterous immoral way that she got there.

Then there’s the honesty part, Kamala lied about a childhood story that she clearly stole from Martin Luther King. I guess if you’re gonna plagiarize… he’s a good one to use because his words and stories are phenomenal, but really? Did she not know a thing called Google would “out” her lie in a nanosecond?

Then there are her policies…. yeah… she’s REALLY lacking there. She’s flip flopped more than a banked catfish on policies. She called Joe Biden a racist for supporting school segregation (remember her back of the bus story) now she’s calling him a unifier. She said we should believe ALL women while supporting the #metoo crowd but then completely dismissed Tara Reade and her claim of sexual abuse by Joe Biden. While CA Attorney General, she locked up minorities for minor drug crimes and refused them early release….. now she’s a proponent of legalizing drugs and releasing thousands of convicts on early.

While campaigning for President, she vehemently asserted that after 47 Years in Washington…. Joe Biden IS the problem with politics, not the solution.

I’ve said it before and I’ll repeatedly say it…. either stand for what you believe in or shut the hell up because this country has enough flip flopping hypocrites. We don’t need any more!

We can also talk about her actual “likability”. She definitely doesn’t have that going for her. She ran in the Democratic primary to be THE candidate on the ticket. She got less than 1% of the votes and had to drop out before the 1st primary. In other words…. she was an epic loser. People didn’t vote for her because they knew she was a dishonest fraud. But…. here we are! People are strapping on pearls to celebrate her new role because… checks notes… she’s a WOMAN!

Call me crazy but I think that if you are casting a vote for someone you should be a bit more concerned with their national policies than with what resides (or doesn’t) in their personal parts area.

Let’s move on to the new President we have. Yeah… he’s a real humdinger. He’s been in politics for 47 years but now he says he’s got the answers to all of our woes and he’s gonna return our country to one of strength, decency, and normalcy. I’m gonna give him a good mark on the last one. Yep…. we’ve definitely returned to “normalcy”. We are back to having career politicians running our lives so….. good job guys.

How about the decency part? Nah… I’m not marking that column for him. Maybe you hated Trump’s Tweets. Big woop-d-doo! If that’s how you determine decency… we need to have a whole ‘nother conversation at a later date. Decency is clearly a subjective issue but lying about how your wife died in a car wreck, lying about hauling your crack head son around the world on Air Force 2 while he collected billions from foreign countries, denying you knew a damn thing about his stacks of cash all whilst he was using your name and position to get it seems a bit light on the decency side.

Do you want to talk about strength? I’ve seen you all claim that we were the laughing stock of the world and our relationships with allies suffered greatly. Give me a break. World leaders might not have cared for Donald’s style… but his style resulted in new trade agreements (strength), a commitment by our allies to fully fund NATO the way they were supposed to (strength), an overweight tyrant over in the north part of Korea quit launching his rockets every time he got an itch (strength), 5 peace agreements negotiated between Israel and Arab countries (strength), our military was replenished after being the first ones on the chopping block when it came to budgets during the Obama years (strength).

So, yeah… maybe his tweets were mean or un-presidential (whatever the heck that means) but the dude rolled in with a solid 4 on the strength scale and rolled out with us creeping towards a 9. So… you might wanna re-think how you quantify that strength virtue.

I gotta tell you the past 3 months left me a bit shattered over how divided we all appear to be. I can’t speak for you but I love this country and as much as I dislike Kamala and Joe I want them to succeed. Consider it a vested interest on my part. I’m on my way to finding the ideal retirement place with my better half (yes.. ..Florida, I’m looking at you) and I’ve got 2 young roommates that are just dipping their toes into being productive members of society.

I want them to have opportunities and prosper and live happily ever after… so I’m not gonna march around like a jackass screaming “NOT my President” like some of you did. I didn’t vote for him but he’s still my President (at least until SHE takes over) and I hope he’s successful. If your partisan heart wishes ill will on the country just to spite those you disagree with I’m gonna break it to you…. you are doing the ‘American’ thing wrong!

The real issue I see going forward is once again back to the same thing that I’ve ranted about for the past 12 months. The media. The media wasn’t your friend during Donald Trump’s reign and I can assure you they are even less of a friend now.

You will see (because I will write about them) the stories they DON’T report to you are really the stories they should. Watch this video ( I learned how to embed those in the BLOG during my sabbatical). Joe has signed more than 19 Executive orders in his first 5 days (Trump had signed 1 in the same time frame) which in his own words is the sign of a DICTATOR. And yet…. the media has not uttered a word OR made him address this legitimate charge because… they are a biased corrupt industry.
