Happy Tuesday to Ya! Yesterday was the “unofficial” end to the summer of 2020. I’m usually so sad to see summer end. This one… not so much. At this time in my life as the roommates are getting older and flying the coop I find myself wanting time to slow down… This year… I’m willing to sacrifice. I’d be alright if the world would spin a bit faster and get us the hell out of 2020. Don’t get me wrong, it’s had some lovely moments but the problem is it has had some really crappy MONTHS so the “moments” aren’t overcoming those.
I did not read the news much over the long weekend but I did see a couple of eye poppers. Remember the story that almost EVERY media outlet in the land ran with about Trump calling Veterans “losers”? I actually saw people on Social Media addressing it as if it was a truthful story…. “I served in the military, how dare he call me a loser”, “I knew he was a Veteran hater” even Joe Biden got into the fray.
I hate to be so blunt about this but I’m gonna be. People with a working brain cell knew that the whole story was a bunch of baloney. This story was “planted” and it was false. WHY on Earth would the media run such a ridiculous false story last week? NO ONE is talking about Nancy Pelosi (CA-D) breaking the law in California anymore by entering a closed hair salon and getting a blow out are they???
If your source of news hasn’t revealed that the story is a lie… let me be the one to enlighten you. Everyone from Nikki Haley, Melania Trump, John Bolton, John Kelly’s Chief of Staff WHO were ALL THERE went on the record and said… IT DIDN’T HAPPEN. If that’s NOT enough… This happened on Sunday. THE END. The Story is over.
