Happy Friday! I’m heading into the weekend like a sloth on a hike. I have many tasks that need to be completed…. none of which I have interest in completing. I honestly had NO intention of writing a blog today. I didn’t have much to write about. Then as the day wore on and my phone lit up like the Griswold Christmas tree with Notifications… I felt compelled. I mean… it’s not like a whole lot happened yesterday. Possible Middle East Peace… National Mask Mandates.... If you criticize Kamala, you’re a misogynist or a racist or a caveman or whatever. So… let’s start at the end and work our way back.
Kamala…. The DNC has made it known that any media organization that criticizes Kamala is gonna have problems. They have blown the horn to let em know… Don’t DO IT! Name calling about a female VP candidate in 2008 was ok, but now… Not so much. The media being the independent unbiased trash rags they are have chimed in, “Oh yes indeed… we will not insult Kamala. We will choose our words carefully and not offend by name calling”. What an absolute disgusting industry they have become! Not because I think the name calling is a good thing. It’s because for 5 years now they have repeatedly criticized President Trump’s hair, skin, weight… etc. And for anyone whose wheels are quickly spinning thinking… he’s a MAN… she’s a WOMAN… not the same thing. I present to you Kellyanne Conway. They have said the most vile things about her. Don’t misinterpret me… I’m all for decency and don’t like the name calling… but it is rather odd that they haven’t had a single issue throwing that crap out there like a baseball at the World Series and now suddenly they do.
Just to update your memory on how the media referred to the last Woman VP candidate:
Moving on to the National Mask Mandate unveiled by Team “No Questions” Biden. He and She announced that in order to eradicate the COVID… “Every single American should be wearing a mask when they are outside for the next 3 months at a minimum. Every Governor should mandate mandatory mask wearing.” Hmm…. that timeline seems a bit suspicious. Then there’s the whole … Who is gonna enforce it? What science supports this massive mandate? What medical study has been done that shows Eloise’s homemade face mask is going to eradicate the virus? He also specifically said “Every single American….” so does that mean immigrants in this country who are NOT American citizens are exempt from the rule??? Lots of questions… but you’re gonna have to wait for the answers. They didn’t allow any questions at their press event. If you don’t think the media is in the bag for Team “No Questions”… you are a blind baboon! Can you imagine if Trump came out and said…. “National Mask Mandate…. we need to do it for the next 3 months. Thanks for coming and I’ll be in touch.” Maybe YOU don’t see it… but I sure as heck do!
Then …. the Middle East Peace possibility. The media twisted into pretzels trying to explain how possible peace in the Middle East is a HORRIBLE thing. Maybe it will end the nonstop fighting over there. Maybe it will enable people to live and feel safe from foreign attacks. Maybe it won’t. But seriously rooting against this agreement leading to peace …. you are WAY on the wrong side of humanity. You’d rather see the President fail than peace succeed??!!
Maybe most citizens don’t feel that way but if you read or listen to a moment of CNN or MSNBC there is ZERO doubt that they are rooting for failure. Then, a few hours later we learned that Oman and Bahrain are following UAE in normalizing relations with Israel. Of course the BIG get is going to be Saudi Arabia… will it happen? It’s possible and that to me is a good thing…. maybe the world will see peace somewhere that it hasn’t for decades. All of that being said…. WHO in the region REALLY wants this to FAIL??? That would be IRAN. Watch and see what happens but don’t root against peace… be compassionate and not partisan. Don’t be skeptical…. be optimistic. Do better than Washington D.C. and the media.
I have a date with a horse today. Please keep our wonderful Veterans in your thoughts and prayers. They have not been able to come to the barn and spend time with our herd because of COVID and every single one of them has a special place in my heart. I miss them dearly!
