Good morning to everyone that tapped the breaks on the Bubba Wallace story yesterday. If you restrained yourself from judging the situation….. congratulations! If you didn’t… you aren’t alone. It seems Bubba owes NASCAR fans an apology for calling them simple-minded people that refuse to accept change and are basically confederate flag waving racists. Here is one person that just couldn’t WAIT for the facts and now we all know she was wrong.
There are a couple of things that really bother me about this whole story. First, they sent 15 FBI agents to investigate this. FIFTEEN! Is the FBI aware of what the hell is going on around the country right now with threats & destruction of public property? They thought a rope in a garage warranted 15 agents! 2nd, NOT ONE NASCAR driver or world class mechanic knows what a garage rope pull down handle is? The rope has been there for at least 8 months according to photos released and it didn’t occur to a single person to step up and say… “Yo… that’s just a garage handle. Look around, we have 43 garages and 30 of them have handles like that”. 3rd… there is something fishy about this WHOLE entire story. I’m not ready to jump out there with my guess about what it is but I will say I have zero doubt that MORE is going to come out about this. Stay tuned…
Jimmy Kimmel…. he’s been in the news a bit. He’s going to take a couple of months off now and hang out at home with his family. He’ll be back in the fall and by then, everyone is supposed to forget about this.
Just a reminder that Paula Deen lost her job at Food Network, Roseanne lost her show at ABC and Jimmy Kimmel is just going to take a vacation… the selective outrage and punishments are astounding to me.
Let’s go back to the removal of the Theodore Roosevelt statue for a minute shall we?? I’ve thought about this quite a bit lately. I’ve thought about the statues that the BLM movement has destroyed and will destroy (because they are stupid enough to announce when they are getting together on Thursday at 7pm to tear one down)… and it’s come down to this. Our education system sucks. That’s it! That’s what I’ve come up with. These idiots are tearing down statues of people that spoke out against racism, fought to end the Civil War and have done great things on behalf of minorities in this country. So, I think we need to go back to the Teachers Unions in this country and have a little sit down. Let’s get to the bottom of WHY in the hell they’ve allowed these kids to move on through our education system without basic American History knowledge. It’s a damn travesty! Just to prove my point:
Have any of you noticed the SILENCE of many of our Government leaders on the topic of statue destruction?? Most of them have not said a peep. Joe Biden has not had a press conference to answer questions on his positions about this. Many Senators / Representatives who haven’t met a microphone yet that they don’t want to stand behind, apparently have given up their love of speaking. Yesterday, President Trump tweeted that people who destroy Federal property will be arrested and charged with Federal crimes. Twitter thought that was a bit too violent for their platform and removed it. But, Twitter HAS allowed videos of attacks, shootings & threats made by BLM to be on their platform. Facebook (my old stomping grounds) has also gotten into the selective censorship role. ALL of this has been going on and many leaders want to spend their time breaking down the number of Covid tests being done, attending the funerals of criminals, and bowing down to mobs to try to appease them. NONE of that is what we sent them to State capitols or Washington DC for….. NONE OF IT. The election will be upon us soon… remember what they have NOT done for you.
