Good Monday morning to ya! A great weekend was had by the roommates here. I have one that is on target to get an “A” this week in his online college math class. I had one that came sooooo very close to winning his flight in the member-member tournament at the golf course. And… I had one that we celebrated yesterday. Huge shout out to the dads everywhere!!! I luckily landed a good one for my boys. My weekend was grand too, I read 2 books while sitting on my peaceful patio. If you haven’t read, “The Dutch House”… it’s a great story!
The unethical biased news rags were out in full force over the past couple of days:
Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) gave an interview in which he was asked whether he could acknowledge his deadly nursing home policy was “on the wrong track”. His reply, “No, The nursing home is an unfortunate situation on 2 levels, Number 1, people in nursing homes died,” he stated. “The nursing home scandal is pure politics, the Republicans in Congress, they think there’s a vulnerability. ” To which the media responded with, “Governor Cuomo.. you are wrong. You signed a mandate which required nursing homes to admit Covid patients directly from the hospital back into their facilities. Over 5000 people have died in those nursing homes. Your state alone accounts for more than 30% of the national deaths from this virus. You cannot possibly blame your mandate and failed leadership on Republicans.” HA! Actually, what the media that interviewed him replied with was, “Thank you for your time Gov. Cuomo. We appreciate you” That’s it. The end. I haven’t seen one mainstream media microphone shoved in that man’s face and demand an answer for all of the deaths he is personally responsible for.
Do you remember the peaceful little nation that has erected their borders in downtown Seattle? They had 2 people shot and one of them died Friday night. The police didn’t, wouldn’t, couldn’t (pick your own word) respond to the 911 calls. Just a reminder… this is how CNN has described the situation out there.
The defund the police movement is going swimmingly well. They’ve managed to force numerous police officers to take early retirement while making the ones that remain not too interested in performing their duties anymore and I don’t blame them. NYPD is reporting 21 people shot in a 24 hour period. Chicago had 60 people shot in the deadliest weekend on record. 9 were killed and 4 of those were under the age of 18. Atlanta is continuing to have issues with cops having the flu. Seems like this is rather important, but I hit the major media websites and they haven’t said much about this trend. Less cops = More crime
The New Yorker Magazine is guilty of peddling Covid panic lately too. Check out this headline.
The article is claiming that numbers of Covid hospitalizations in Florida have skyrocketed recently. It says 12,673 people ARE hospitalized now. Of course that number is huge… that’s where NY was at the peak of this virus. The article would make anyone in Florida strap on a mask and sit in their closet because clearly every human in the area is at severe risk of adding to the total. Do you know what the problem with this story is??? It’s complete BS! There are NOT 12,673 people IN the hospital now. There HAVE been 12,673 people hospitalized since this pandamic began in March. Florida has never had more than 2000 people hospitalized (3.5% of beds) with Covid at a time. The New Yorker magazine lied and got caught. And for anyone thinking… well, they just stated the number incorrectly, NO THEY DIDN’T. They wrote an ENTIRE article based on this false information.
Then there’s this one that truly offended me. I cannot comprehend which editor at CBS News thought this was acceptable.
CBS News is telling the world that an ADOPTED child is NOT really a Son or Daughter of their Adoptive parents. I know lots of people that have adopted children and NONE of them refer to their child as their “Son” or “Daughter”. By putting the word son in “Quotations” it is implying they aren’t legitimately their children. Despicable behavior in my opinion.
Something to keep your eye on…. George Floyd was killed 28 days ago. Not 1 frame of police body cam or dash cam video has been released. As a comparison, we saw the police body cam footage within 2 days of Rayshard Brooks being killed. The media is suspiciously quiet on this and I wonder why???? And…. I didn’t watch John Bolton last night. I don’t need to…. he’s the 7th story on CNN’s page this morning. Even they know he’s selling a load of falsehoods.
And.. lastly…. Do your research before you vote. Know who you are voting for and why. Find out everthing you can about their public record and their agenda. This woman is an elected county commissioner in Shelby County, Tennessee. People in MY county elected her. This is WHO SHE IS:
